All nurses, midwives and nursing associates must renew their NMC registration every three years through revalidation. This requires a minimum of 450 practice hours, 35 hours of CPD (including 20 participatory), five written reflective accounts, a reflective discussion, practice-related feedback, a confirmation, and health-and-character and indemnity declarations. (CBT/OSCE are not part of revalidation for those already registered.)
