The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) is the regulator for pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and pharmacies in Great Britain, a statutory organisation set up by the UK and Scottish parliaments. Its role and functions are set out in the Pharmacy Order. It maintains registers of pharmacists (Part 1), pharmacy technicians (Part 2), pharmacies and training premises, and sets standards for pharmacies and pharmacy professionals.
