ARB registration — the legal credential and the durable check

ARB registration (a “Registered Architect”) is the legal credential: it confers the right to use the protected title “architect” in practice and business. Registration is maintained by annual retention (an annual fee plus a declaration), and ARB operates a professional conduct regime (the Architects Code) whose Professional Conduct Committee can remove a person from the register for serious breaches. For verification, the load-bearing fact is that the register check is route-agnostic: whether a named person is currently on the ARB Register is the stable, durable claim, while the route names used to qualify (Parts 1/2/3 versus the new outcomes model) are the volatile part. A credential-verification surface should treat “ARB-registered” as the anchor and avoid hard-coding the route, so that a route rename does not falsify the check.
