Pharmacists with a non-EEA qualification, or non-EEA nationals with an EEA qualification other than a UK-recognised pharmacist qualification, register via the Overseas Pharmacists Assessment Programme (OSPAP): a one-year, full-time postgraduate diploma course run by some UK universities, followed by 52 weeks of foundation training in England, Scotland or Wales (recruited and managed by the relevant statutory education body) and the GPhC registration assessment, which must be passed. The GPhC factsheet says these steps must be completed, and the application to register made, within four years of starting the OSPAP course.
