Senior Project Controls Engineer - Infrastructure

Overview

In this role you help drive delivery of high-value infrastructure programmes by delivering robust project controls, reporting and analysis. You’ll collaborate with cost and planning specialists to define baselines, monitor progress and costs, and provide actionable insights to clients. You will act as a key contact on projects, shaping performance management in cross-functional teams. Responsibilities

• Develop work breakdown structures and performance baselines with cost/planning engineers
• Establish progress and cost monitoring methods
• Produce project control reports and conduct performance analysis
• Provide recommendations to clients based on control findings
• Act as primary day-to-day client contact on some projects

Key requirements

• Experience in a project controls environment on major infrastructure projects (airports, rail, water, utilities, highways)
• Strong understanding of earned value, progress updating, cost control, change control, and baseline management
• Proficiency with P6/Primaver a and Excel
• Familiarity with Oracle, SAP and web-based project control tools
• Numerate and computer literate with reporting/database skills
