Overview

In this Senior Project Controls Engineer role, you will support a high-profile aviation infrastructure project in London, delivering performance reporting and analyses that drive project decisions. You’ll work within the project controls team, potentially as the main client contact on large initiatives. The position emphasizes cost, schedule, and performance baselines, with established reporting and continuous improvement of controls. You will apply your aviation-segment experience to help delivery of complex airport programs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cost and planning engineers to develop work breakdown structures and baselines
• Establish progress and cost monitoring methods
• Produce project control reports and provide performance analysis
• Offer recommendations based on performance data to clients
• Operate within a potentially large team or as primary client contact
• Apply earned value, progress updating and baseline management within P6 environments
• Utilise reporting databases and ensure accurate cost control and change control processes
• Engage with procurement/financial systems and maintain transparent reporting

Key requirements

• Experience in project controls within infrastructure, preferably airports
• Solid understanding of earned value, progress updating, cost control, change control, baseline management, and reporting
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Primavera P6
• Familiar with Oracle and SAP and web-based project control tools
• Graduate in a relevant discipline with some project control experience
