Associate Director – Estimating – Water Sector

Overview

In this role you will lead the production of robust estimates and cost plans for water-sector programmes, shaping decision-making for clients. You will drive estimating best practices, support major programmes and bid development, and contribute to regional growth goals. You’ll work with Directors and cross-functional teams to interface with clients and grow Turner & Townsend’s water estimating capability. Responsibilities

• Lead production of accurate estimates and cost plans for water-sector projects and programmes
• Promote estimating best practices aligned with Estimating Vision 2030
• Support regional strategic goals and departmental objectives
• Interface with clients and other consultants at all project stages
• Develop junior team members and provide guidance to staff
• Contribute to new business opportunities and cross-selling within existing and new clients
• Assist in bid construction and bid management
• Provide knowledge management and maintain awareness of technical developments

Key requirements

• Qualified to high standard in Estimating or Quantity Surveying
• Proven relevant estimating experience in water sector
• Experience with estimating software packages
• Experience leading and managing teams
• Desirable membership of RICS/CIOB/A. Cost E
• Experience on major programmes in water sector
