• Hours: 40 hours, 8-5 Monday to Friday + call out (Max 1 in 4)
• Pay: Salary starting from £45-55k DOE + Call out and overtime = OTE £70k

Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Installing, maintaining, and repairing commercial gas systems and appliances in a range of environments.
• Ensuring all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in compliance with current regulations and standards.
• Working closely with our engineering teams to provide technical solutions to our clients.
• Being a COCN1 gas-qualified engineer with experience in commercial gas heating and hot water systems.

The above list of duties is not exhaustive and the post holder will be required to undertake such tasks as may reasonably be expected within the scope of the post.

Candidate Requirements

• A friendly and professional attitude, with strong relationship-building skills with clients and tenants, ensuring all works meet the required standards.
• Experience working on commercial gas heating and hot water systems.
• Valid Gas Safe Registration and Commercial Gas Qualifications (COCN1 or CODNCO1, CIGA1, CORT1, ICPN1, TPCP1A or TPCP1).
• Full UK Drive License (essential).
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating or equivalent (desirable).
• HNTAS/CP1 awareness.
• Proven experience as a commercial gas engineer in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of heating systems, pipework, and controls.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
