Senior Software Engineer, C#, Typescript, .NET

Senior Software Engineer, C#, TypeScript, .NET

A Senior Software Engineer opportunity has arisen with a world-renowned organisation, joining a team whose software sits at the heart of engineering operations. Could this be the role where your technical skills genuinely make a difference?

The Role

The Senior Software Engineer will be central to designing and building .NET APIs that connect a wide range of systems across engineering and operational functions, from aerodynamics tooling to real-time performance data. You will collaborate closely with specialist engineers and product stakeholders to translate complex user needs into clean, scalable software solutions. The team works across a varied technology estate — including C#, TypeScript, React, Python, and cloud-native services — and is actively modernising its platforms, giving you genuine scope to influence how things are built going forward.

Day to day you will be involved in everything from code reviews and mentoring less experienced developers to contributing to architectural decisions and documentation.

The Company

This is a globally recognised organisation with decades of history at the elite level of the sport. Based in the South East of England, the business operates in an extraordinarily fast-paced environment where engineering precision and software innovation go hand in hand. The technology team supports some of the most demanding and specialist users in professional sport, and the work produced is directly visible in competition outcomes.

What experience does the Senior Software Engineer need?

• Solid commercial development experience in C# and TypeScript, with the ability to design and build robust APIs and backend services that integrate multiple systems
• Familiarity with source control and software process tooling such as Git and Azure DevOps, alongside a strong grasp of software design patterns and architecture
• A collaborative, pragmatic approach to problem-solving — including the ability to communicate technical thinking clearly to non-technical colleagues and specialist engineering users
• Experience with or exposure to containerisation, cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, or engineering-adjacent domains such as PLM software, Dynamics 365, aerodynamics, or simulation tooling is a strong advantage

Benefits

• The chance to work in one of sport's most technically demanding and high-profile environments
• Active investment in modernisation, giving you real influence over how the team's software evolves
• A collaborative, inclusive culture with a genuine commitment to reasonable adjustments and equal opportunity
• Exposure to cutting-edge tooling and ways of working, including AI-assisted development approaches
