Business & Customer Support Executive

We are looking for a Junior Business & Customer Support Executive to join our growing team.

This would suit someone with around 1-2 years' experience in customer service, office administration, sales administration, retail or a similar environment, who is looking for their next step.

You don't need experience in ITAD or refurbished IT.What matters most is your attitude, work ethic, willingness to learn and genuine interest in providing excellent customer support.

You will work closely alongside our Customer Service Excellence Manager / Sales Account Manager, supporting customers and reseller partners while gaining experience across customer service, sales, ITAD operations, logistics and business development.

The Role

This is a varied role within a growing business.You will initially focus on customer support and administration, with the opportunity to take on more responsibility as your knowledge and confidence develop.

Customer Service & Account Support

• Manage day-to-day customer communications from point of order through to delivery.
• Ensure customers receive a professional and positive experience every time.
• Deal with customer queries and help resolve complaints quickly and effectively.
• Build strong relationships with customers and key partners.
• Support the development and implementation of our returns and warranty procedure.
• Arrange logistics where required to support customers and the wider business.
• Maintain accurate customer records and information.

ITAD / Ex-Lease Operations

• Support key partners through the ITAD process.
• Liaise with clients to arrange equipment collections.
• Book collections with the appropriate carrier.
• Check collection paperwork and site scan logs.
• Identify and report discrepancies to the relevant contacts.
• Confirm receipt of consignments using our ERP system.
• Monitor agreed SLAs and highlight potential issues.
• Work closely with the operations team to ensure a smooth process from collection through to receipt.

Sales & Reseller Support

• Support the sales team with customer enquiries, quotes and product enquiries.
• Respond to reseller questions and requests.
• Help maintain accurate customer and prospect information.
• Identify potential new reseller prospects and carry out basic research.
• Support customer communications and marketing activity.
• Develop an understanding of our refurbished IT products and reseller market.

Business Development & Systems

As a growing business, there will be plenty of opportunity to get involved and make a difference.

• Help develop and maintain company processes and procedures.
• Create and maintain process documents and work instructions.
• Support our ISO processes and documentation.
• Help develop and improve our ERP system.
• Assist with the implementation of new processes.
• Bring ideas that improve the customer experience and how we operate.
• Help build and maintain the Re-com culture.

What We're Looking For

You will ideally have 1-2 years' experience in customer service, office administration, sales administration, retail, account support or a similar role.

Experience in IT, ITAD or refurbished technology would be useful but is not essential.
