Working pattern: Hybrid - 3 days office based, 2 days home based | 8.30am - 5.00pm

We are recruiting for our client, a well-established business, for an experienced Customer Service Executive to join a friendly and collaborative team.

This is a varied B2B customer service role where you will manage customer orders from receipt through to delivery, provide proactive updates and work closely with colleagues across the wider operation to ensure customers receive a reliable and professional service.

The Role:

• Manage customer orders from receipt through to delivery, ensuring records remain accurate and up to date
• Act as a key point of contact for a portfolio of business customers, responding to queries and providing regular updates
• Monitor outstanding orders and help resolve availability, transport or delivery issues
• Review customer ordering activity and communicate relevant changes to internal teams
• Prepare and maintain documentation for overseas and international orders
• Work closely with sales, planning, logistics, supply and finance colleagues
• Handle customer complaints professionally and coordinate follow-up through to resolution
• Identify opportunities to improve service levels and make customer administration processes more efficient

The ideal Customer Service Executive will have:

• Around 2-4 years' experience in customer service, order management or a similar B2B role
• Experience supporting customers within a busy commercial or multi-site environment
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail
• The ability to manage several priorities confidently
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Experience using a CRM, ERP, order-processing or similar business system would be advantageous. Additional language skills would also be desirable but are not essential.
