As a CPaaS leader with 25 years of groundbreaking experience, we're the force behind over 7 billion customer interactions each year, enabling businesses worldwide to connect via advanced channels like SMS, RCS, and complex mobile journeys.

Our culture is our core strength. Operating across the UK, EMEA, the USA, and Australia, we've fostered a truly diverse and connected environment, earning a consistent 4 out of 5 culture score in our employee engagement surveys. You'll join a vibrant team where your diverse experience makes a daily global impact.

We need talented people to grow a global company where everyone feels proud to belong, have a purpose and do their best to directly shape the digital future.

We are looking for a talented Frontend Engineer to design, build, and maintain user-facing features across our web, desktop, and mobile experiences.

In this role, you will write clean, well-tested, and maintainable code that directly shapes the customer experience on the Text Request platform. Working closely with Product Managers, QA, and cross-functional teammates, you will bring features to life while advocating for usability, performance, accessibility, and high technical standards.

If you are a proactive developer who cares about real-world customer outcomes, enjoys working with modern web technologies, and embraces collaborative agile engineering, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Be Doing

• Feature Development: Design, code, test, and refactor web, desktop, and mobile user interfaces using modern frontend technologies.
• Product Collaboration: Work alongside Product Owners and Managers to refine user stories, define acceptance criteria, and estimate work to ensure we deliver meaningful value to users.
• Testing & Quality: Maintain a strong unit and component testing discipline, collaborate with QA colleagues across the testing pyramid, and perform ad-hoc exploratory testing.
• Continuous Delivery: Maintain and build on CI/CD pipelines, troubleshoot build issues, and support smooth deployment processes.
• Engineering Practice: Follow and shape design patterns, flag technical debt, participate in constructive code reviews, and build with security, performance, and accessibility in mind.

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Modern Frontend Tech: Proven experience building web applications using modern component-based frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue (we use Angular, but welcome transferable framework skills).
• Core Web Stack: Strong hands-on proficiency with TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
• API Integration: Hands-on experience consuming and integrating RESTful or web APIs.
• Testing Discipline: Solid unit and component testing habits built directly into your day-to-day workflow.
• Pragmatic AI Usage: Practical experience using AI coding assistants in your daily workflow—with the critical mindset to critique, refine, or reject generated code.
• Agile & DevOps: Familiarity with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban, TDD/BDD) and experience working with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Communication: Clear communication skills, with the ability to explain technical ideas and collaborate effectively across teams.

Desirable (Bonus points if you have):

• Specific Angular experience, including state management and component testing.
• Experience building desktop or mobile apps using web technologies (we use Electron and Capacitor).
• Experience with real-time UI features (e.g. SignalR, WebSockets).
• Full-stack capability or backend experience with C#/.NET (or similar) and basic SQL/Azure knowledge.
• Experience working with design systems and a strong eye for UI/UX accessibility.
• Experience leveraging AI tools beyond code generation (e.g., test generation, documentation, legacy refactoring).

• Competitive Salary (£45 - 55,000)
• Company Bonus Scheme
• Comprehensive healthcare cash plan
• A generous 27 days of annual leave in addition to Bank Holidays
• 2 Wellbeing leave days and 2 days dedicated to giving back to your community
• Enjoy your birthday off!
• Employer pension contribution at 5%
• Death in service benefit (4 times your salary)
• Annual award recognition
• Fun monthly and quarterly social events
• Opportunities for training and professional development
• Flexible hybrid working arrangements
