Company Overview / The Role
A leading UK engineering company is looking to expand its field engineering team. The role involves delivering planned and reactive engineering solutions across a wide range of mechanical and electrical depot systems.
Due to continued growth, the company is seeking a hands‑on Field Service Engineer to support maintenance activities across the Midlands, South and South‑East regions.
Key Responsibilities
Service, repair, install and maintain depot plant equipment including:
Production machinery
Motors, gearboxes & three-phase equipment
Electrical control systems
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown work
Diagnose and fault‑find on mechanical and electrical systems
Complete accurate job reports and service documentation
Work independently across multiple sites while representing the business professionally
Support project‑based installation work when required
Location & Travel
Location: UK Wide (Typically Midlands & South)
Overnight stays typically 1–3 nights per week depending on project and location
Salary / Overtime Rates
Up to £45,000 + overtime opportunities paid door to door
