Role Overview

Due to our continued success and expansion, we are looking to strengthen our construction delivery team with an experienced Air Conditioning Installation & Service Engineer.

You will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and maintenance of air conditioning systems across a variety of sites, ensuring all works are carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

The position includes a competitive rate of pay, pension, and paid holiday allowance.

This is a full-time position (subject to a 3-month probationary period).

Air Conditioning Installation & Service Engineer is responsible for working in accordance with company Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and supporting a positive safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

Undertake servicing, repair, and maintenance or air conditioning systems,
Carry out installation, operation, and commissioning of HVAC plant and equipment,
Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs,
Ensure all work is completed in line with company standards, industry regulations, and best practice,
Participate in an emergency out-of-hours call-out rota where required,
Provide professional assessments and technical advice to clients,
Work in accordance with Health & Safety procedures and safe working practices,
Complete dynamic risk assessments prior to starting work on site,
Accurately complete all required paperwork or electronic reports
Proven experience as an Air Conditioning / HVAC Engineer,
Relevant HVAC / Air Conditioning qualification (e.g., NVQ or equivalent),
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills,
Good understanding of Health & Safety regulations,
Ability to work independently and as a part of a team,
Good communication and customer-facing skills
CSCS Card,
PASMA and/or IPAF certification,
Full UK Driving Licence
