Validation Engineer
Location: Bristol - Onsite
Edison Smart is working with a Semiconductor business specialising in wireless technologies. We are looking for a Staff Engineer to develop advanced semiconductor solutions powering digital infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Develop and validate advanced semiconductor solutions powering digital infrastructure.
Perform high-speed validation and test high-speed optical components, modules or ICs.
Conduct lab-based testing to validate next-generation semiconductor devices.
Generate test equipment automation software using LabVIEW or Python.
Apply knowledge of high-speed signal integrity using Altium and PCB tools.
Qualifications
Strong experience in high-speed validation and related testing methodologies.
Experience testing high-speed optical components, modules, or ICs.
Strong lab-based testing skills for semiconductor devices.
Proficiency in test equipment automation software (LabVIEW or Python).
Knowledge of high-speed signal integrity and PCB tooling (Altium).
