We are working with a leading, design-led engineering consultancy to appoint a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to their London team. This role offers the chance to take a technical and client-facing lead position on complex infrastructure projects, with a particular focus on large-scale, mission-critical developments.
The consultancy has a strong and growing data centre client base, delivering projects across the UK and internationally, making this a standout opportunity for engineers looking to broaden their technical exposure and global project reach.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and delivery of infrastructure schemes from concept through to detailed design and construction support
Act as a key technical point of contact for clients, particularly within the data centre and mission‑critical sectors
Produce and review detailed designs for drainage, highways, earthworks and utilities in line with UK standards and best practice
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including structural, geotechnical and building services engineers
Mentor and support junior engineers, contributing to technical development and knowledge sharing within the team
Input into project programming, resourcing and commercial performance where appropriate

Data centres and mission‑critical infrastructure

Long‑term repeat clients and flagship developments
About You
Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
Strong experience delivering infrastructure designs within a UK consultancy environment
Confident leading projects and interfacing directly with clients and stakeholders
Proficient in industry software such as Civil 3D, MicroDrainage / InfoDrainage and AutoCAD
Working towards or already chartered (ICE or similar)
Commercially aware, with the ability to balance technical excellence and project delivery
