Quality Engineer

What you will do

• Maintain and improve our quality management system (ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 / AS9100)
• Lead root cause investigations using 8D, 5 Whys and fishbone tools
• Manage customer complaints and supplier quality issues
• Prepare PPAP and FAI documentation for new parts
• Run internal audits and support customer and certification audits
• Use data and SPC to cut scrap and rework

What you need

• Degree or HNC in an engineering subject, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years in a quality role in manufacturing
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 or a sector standard
• Confidence with problem-solving tools and core quality tools (APQP, PFMEA, control plans)
• Able to read engineering drawings and use measuring equipment

Nice to have

• Internal auditor certification
• Six Sigma Green Belt
• CMM experience
