• Location: Knutsford, Parkgate Industrial Estate (100% Office-Based)
• Hours: Mon-Fri, 8:30am-5:00pm (40 hours per week)
• Salary: 35,000 to 45,000 per annum (dependent on experience) + Discretionary Bonus

As proud winners of both the prestigious Queen's Award and the King's Award for Industry , they are experiencing massive growth and are looking for a commercially driven, technically minded Internal Sales Engineer to join their fast-paced Knutsford team.

What You'll Be Doing

Acting as the central point of contact for global clients, you will manage high-value technical and commercial enquiries from initial contact straight through to order delivery.

• Enquiry & Quote Management: Evaluate customer specifications to prepare accurate, competitive technical and commercial quotations.
• Account Development: Proactively nurture key accounts to identify new business opportunities, drive enquiry volumes, and maximise sales.
• Order Processing & CRM: Own the end-to-end order entry pipeline while maintaining precise records of opportunities within the CRM.
• Commercial Strategy: Review customer terms and ensure all project margins strictly align with company profitability expectations.
• Team Collaboration: Partner closely with the external sales team to share regional leads, market intelligence, and growth opportunities.

What You'll Bring

• Qualifications: A formal Mechanical Engineering qualification (or equivalent hands-on industrial experience).
• Experience: Proven background in a technical sales or internal engineering support role within an industrial environment.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience with valves, flow control, manufacturing, or the oil & gas sector is highly desirable.
• Tech Skills: Proficient with CRM systems and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Attributes: A proactive, highly organised communicator who thrives in a fast-moving, commercial environment.
