You'lljoinasmallqualityteamof2,supportingthemanufactureofcomplex,high-specificationcomponents.Theworkisvaried,soyou'llbedealingwithdifferentengineeringandqualitychallengesratherthanrepetitive,high-volumeproduction.

TheRole

You'llberesponsibleforabroadrangeofhands-onqualityengineeringactivities,including:

• InterpretingcomplexengineeringdrawingsandGD&T
• Supportingmanufacturingwithday-to-dayqualityissues
• Managingnon-conformancesandcorrectiveactions
• Rootcauseanalysisandproblemsolving
• Supportinginspectionandmeasurementactivities
• Producingandreviewingqualityandinspectiondocumentation
• Workingcloselywithproductionandengineeringteams
• Supportingcustomerandsupplierqualityrequirements
• Contributingtoqualitysystemsandcontinuousimprovement
• Supportingauditsandqualitycontrolactivities

WhatWe'reLookingFor

We'relookingforsomebodywith:

• QualityEngineeringexperiencewithinanengineeringormanufacturingenvironment
• StrongknowledgeofGD&T
• Confidenceinterpretingcomplexengineeringdrawings
• Practical,hands-onmanufacturingqualityexperience
• ExperiencedealingwithNCRs,rootcauseanalysisandcorrectiveactions
• Experiencewithinprecisionengineering,aerospace,defence,nuclearoranothercomplexengineeringenvironment
• Astablecareerhistoryandaninterestinalong-termpermanentposition

ExperiencewithCMMs,PC-DMIS,ISOstandardsorqualityauditingwouldbebeneficial.

Thecompanyisparticularlyinterestedinpeopleaccustomedtocomplexandvariedengineeringratherthanpurelyrepetitive,high-volumeproduction.

Package

Salary: Upto55,000dependingonexperience

Holiday: 23daysplusbankholidays

Pension: 4%matchedfollowingprobation

WorkingHours

MondaytoThursday: 8:00amto4:30pm

Friday: 8:00amto3:30pm
