Senior Electronics Engineer

Overview

As Senior Electronics Engineer, you will lead hardware design from concept to production for high-performance, mission-critical electronic systems. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust solutions and ensure seamless integration with systems, software, RF, and mechanical engineers. You will own design reviews, documentation, and compliance activities, guiding prototypes through bring-up, debugging, and validation in the lab. This role offers the chance to shape advanced electronics in a growing Cambridge technology company and drive impactful, hands-on engineering work.

Responsibilities

• Lead analogue, digital and mixed-signal hardware design
• Schematic capture, PCB design, and component selection
• Prototype support, lab bring-up, debugging and validation
• Cross-functional collaboration with systems, software, RF and mechanical engineers for integration
• Contribute to design reviews, documentation and compliance activities

Key requirements

• Degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• Strong experience in electronic circuit design, PCB development, and lab validation
• Exposure to high-speed digital, RF, or defence-related systems desirable
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to take technical ownership
