Site Engineer

Overview

In this role you will help deliver essential water and environmental projects on site, ensuring quality and safety while coordinating with the broader project team. You will work within a cross-functional delivery environment to drive accurate setting-out, site surveys, and timely information flow. You’ll support the Site Manager in setting up systems, enforcing safety, and monitoring outputs, with a focus on practical civil engineering solutions. This is a hands-on engineering position at a company delivering meaningful improvements to communities and ecosystems. Responsibilities

• Ensure setting-out operations follow company procedures and test/inspection regimes
• Conduct on-site management and as-built surveys on completed works
• Assist Site Manager with initial site set-up and ensure systems and procedures are in place
• Support planning and monitoring of project output and enforce safety standards
• Maintain up-to-date material deliveries and manage plant levels for financial control
• Assist Site Manager and Quantity Surveying by compiling data on resources utilised per activity

Key requirements

• CSCS and SSSTS
• HNC / Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience
• Understand civil engineering principles and practices
• Knowledge of methods, materials and technical aspects relevant to the project
• Excellent organisation and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication with team members and stakeholders
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across the region
