In this role you will help shape the UK’s energy infrastructure through transmission and distribution projects. You’ll work within the T&D engineering team on grid-scale developments that support the energy transition, from concept to energisation, contributing to major programmes like grid modernisation. You’ll collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative, efficient solutions and professional designs. Responsibilities

• Contribute to electrical engineering design on T&D projects
• Support grid modernisation and energy transition initiatives
• Engage with clients, stakeholders and subcontractors to discuss technical issues
• Assist in delivering projects from concept through energisation
• Work with HV systems, protection, SCADA, and interconnectors within project scope
• Leverage automation tools to improve project efficiency and outcomes
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to manage complexity and ensure quality
• Support adherence to BS/Eurocodes and industry standards

Key requirements

• Electrical/electronic/power engineering qualification
• Demonstrable design consultancy experience on T&D projects
• Working knowledge of BS and/or Eurocodes
• Strong verbal and written communication with clients and stakeholders
