Front End Engineer, Investment Analytics

Overview

In this Front-End Engineer role, you will craft modern, responsive interfaces for investment analytics, helping users compare portfolios and analyze risk and performance. You will work with cross-functional investment users to translate complex calculations into clear user journeys and build data-rich visualizations. The position focuses on delivering high-quality, accessible UIs that handle complex datasets and APIs at scale. You will join a team dedicated to intuitive experiences around investment data and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive, intuitive user interfaces using TypeScript and React or a comparable modern framework
• Integrate with APIs and work with complex datasets
• Build interactive charts, data visualisations and data grids
• Develop automated tests and ensure strong accessibility and usability
• Work closely with investment users to translate complex calculations and data into clear, effective user journeys

Key requirements

• Strong commercial experience with TypeScript and React or similar
• Experience building data-intensive applications and integrating APIs
• Strong understanding of application engineering, usability and responsive design
• Experience with investment, trading, risk or financial applications is highly desirable
• Financial markets knowledge is beneficial, but strong quantitative/quantitative mathematics experience is not required
