In this role you will lead and contribute to highways and drainage projects within an employee-owned civil engineering consultancy. You will work across multidisciplinary development schemes from feasibility to detailed design, coordinating with clients and authorities. You will mentor junior engineers and help deliver infrastructure solutions that meet standards and client expectations. Responsibilities
Lead or contribute to highway and/or drainage design packages
Prepare and review technical reports, drawings and design outputs
Deliver projects within agreed budgets, programmes and standards
Support fee proposals and ongoing project management
Liaise with clients, local authorities, statutory bodies and contractors
Attend client and design team meetings
Guide, support and mentor junior team members
Collaborate within a multidisciplinary environment
Key requirements
UK consultancy experience in highways, drainage or both
Proficient with AutoCAD (essential)
Experience with InfoDrainage and/or Site3D advantageous
Strong understanding of relevant design standards and guidance
Confident communicator with good written and verbal skills
Able to manage multiple projects and priorities
Client-facing capability
Chartered or working towards Chartership welcomed, but not essential
