Responsibilities
Lead and support highway and streetscape design in urban environments
Deliver schemes across active travel, public realm, and traffic projects
Produce detailed design packages using AutoCAD
Take projects from feasibility through implementation
Apply design standards including DMRB, TfL streetscape guidance, LTN 1/20, LCDS and TSRGD
Coordinate Statutory Undertaker plant diversions from searches to implementation
Prepare technical reports and stakeholder documentation
Collaborate with internal teams, clients, contractors, sub-consultants and stakeholders
Support delivery in complex, fast-paced London environments
Contribute to project planning and overall delivery of schemes
Key requirements
Relevant degree in Civil Engineering (or similar) or equivalent professional experience
At least 3 years of highways/transport infrastructure design experience
Experience developing highway designs in line with DMRB, TfL streetscape guidance, LTN 1/20
Strong AutoCAD skills for high-quality drawings and packages
