In this role you will design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions for backend services, APIs, and front-end interfaces, helping to scale quality across complex platforms. You will improve automation frameworks, integrate testing into CI/CD workflows, and promote best practices to the engineering organization. You’ll work with cross‑functional teams to shape testing strategies and raise test coverage and performance. Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain automated test solutions for backend services, APIs, and UI
Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks for reliable software delivery
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
Collaborate with engineers, QA, and product teams to define testing strategies
Convert repeatable test scenarios into automated suites and perform manual validation when needed
Investigate and resolve issues affecting automated test execution
Improve test coverage, execution performance, and framework reliability
Promote software quality practices across teams
Support continuous improvement and mentor engineers on automation best practices
Key requirements
7+ years of experience in software test automation
Strong experience automating backend, API, and UI testing
Proficiency in Java, Python, or C#
Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber or similar
Experience in Agile environments
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated delivery practices
