You will deliver feasibility studies, outlines and detailed designs, and technical specifications while mentoring junior staff. You will ensure compliance with standards and contribute to risk management and sustainability objectives. Responsibilities
Collaborate with engineers, hydraulic modellers, environmental scientists, and specialists to deliver diverse projects
Engage with clients to scope work, price proposals and report progress
Produce feasibility studies, outline designs, detailed designs, reports and technical specifications
Undertake line management and performance evaluations for junior staff
Ensure design compliance with applicable standards and regulations; provide interdisciplinary analytical support
Support innovation, technical assurance, and risk management across projects
Key requirements
Civil Engineering degree or equivalent
Experience in the water sector
Chartered or Incorporated with ICE, CIWEM, or approaching chartered status
Experience of engineering assessments, options appraisals, calculations, and economic appraisals
Experience in outline and detailed design in wastewater or water treatment, flood risk, or drainage schemes
