Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Overview

As a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer you will diagnose faults and repair a range of mechanical and electrical equipment on a large manufacturing site. You will operate on a 2-week shift pattern (days and nights) within a collaborative maintenance team, contributing to planned maintenance and uptime. The role offers training, progression, and overtime opportunities within a stable, sizable company. You will work to keep production lines running and support continuous improvement in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Repair mechanical and electrical equipment
• Fault diagnosis and repair
• Implement and support planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Work as part of a shift-based maintenance team
• Contribute to continuous improvement and fault resolution
• Adhere to safety and regulatory standards
• Occasional travel within site or local area as needed
• Support weekend shift requirements as part of rota

Key requirements

• Experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment
• Experience with planned preventive maintenance systems
• 18th Edition or other suitable electrical qualification
• UK driving licence and willingness to work shifts
