Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Overview

In this role you will maintain electrical and mechanical systems on a static site in Watford, ensuring reliable operation of lighting, power, HVAC, and control systems. You will work within a maintenance team to address planned and reactive tasks, diagnosing faults and coordinating with contractors. The position offers progression and training opportunities with a stable Monday–Friday schedule and overtime potential. You will contribute to site reliability and safety by applying regulatory standards and timely problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems (lighting, power distribution, HVAC)
• Perform PPM and reactive maintenance on site
• Oversee power distribution, lighting, emergency lighting, and control systems
• Fault-finding, diagnosis, and repairs
• Liaise with contractors to coordinate works

Key requirements

• Level 3 electrical installations or equivalent
• 18th edition wiring regulations
• Eligible to live and work in the UK
