Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on electrical systems, plant, and equipment.
• Diagnose and rectify faults on lighting, power distribution, emergency lighting, and standby power systems.
• Perform electrical testing, inspections, and certification in line with current regulations and healthcare standards.
• Install, modify, and commission electrical systems, containment, wiring, and distribution boards.
• Support critical hospital services while maintaining health, safety, compliance, and customer service.

Key requirements

• City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification (or equivalent)
• 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
• Inspection and Testing qualification (City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent)
• Experience maintaining commercial or healthcare electrical systems with a strong understanding of health and safety legislation

• City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification (or equivalent)
• 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
• Inspection and Testing qualification (City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent)
• Experience maintaining commercial or healthcare electrical systems with health and safety focus
