Responsibilities

Lead and develop inclusive, high-performing engineering teams; define objectives, coach talent, and participate in governance reviews
Own end-to-end delivery of mission-critical software—from requirements and architecture to deployment, monitoring, and reliability
Raise engineering standards: enforce best practices across code, testing, microservices/APIs, performance, and infrastructure; promote secure by design
Collaborate with product, design, and operations to shape architecture modernization and integrations
Translate product strategy into technical plans and drive delivery aligns with company pillars

Key requirements

Proven leadership of software engineering teams in distributed systems and agile environments
Hands-on AI development using modern tools and integration of AI into products
Strong Java (Spring) expertise and architectural patterns for scalable, observable systems
Proficiency in CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews, TDD, and DevOps culture
Hands-on experience with containers (Docker) and private cloud; familiarity with telemetry tools
Talent development experience including hiring, coaching, and performance management
Understanding of business domain and ability to translate strategy into delivery plans
Corporate Actions domain experience strongly preferred
Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and Angular; Spring Framework and API/platform design preferred
Background in financial services, risk and controls, and regulated environments preferred
