Responsibilities

• Produce structural designs and calculations for a variety of projects
• Work with steel, concrete, masonry and timber structures
• Prepare technical reports and design documentation
• Attend client, contractor and design team meetings
• Undertake site visits and inspections
• Collaborate with civil and geotechnical teams
• Deliver practical and cost-effective engineering solutions

Key requirements

• Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Experience within a structural engineering consultancy
• Chartered status or working towards Chartership
• Experience designing building structures
• Good understanding of UK design standards
