Senior Structural Engineer

Overview

In this Senior Structural Engineer role you will lead and deliver buildings structures projects, from inception through delivery, on UK and international schemes. You will work within an established Structural & Civil Engineering team, collaborating with internal specialists to ensure technical excellence and timely delivery. You will manage projects and junior staff, and lead client-facing design work for concrete, steel, timber and masonry, including refurbishment. A path to Chartership and ongoing CPD support are featured within a progressive practice.

Responsibilities

• lead and manage buildings projects from inception to completion
• supervise and mentor junior engineers and technicians
• perform and oversee structural design for concrete, steel, timber and masonry
• conduct surveys and prepare reports as part of project work
• coordinate with clients and internal stakeholders on a variety of UK and international schemes

Key requirements

• excellent communication skills
• desire to attain Chartership
• proficient in Tekla, MasterSeries, SCIA and Tedds
• able to run and manage projects and junior staff
• eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship
