In this role you will lead mechanical building services design within a growing Building Services team. You will collaborate with engineers, architects, and consultants to deliver integrated HVAC, water, drainage, and specialist systems for diverse sectors. You drive compliant, performant designs and coordinate across disciplines to ensure seamless project delivery. Responsibilities
Design and specify mechanical building services (HVAC, domestic water, drainage, specialist systems)
Produce calculations using industry software (Hevacomp, Revit MEP, AutoCAD)
Create design drawings, specs, and tender documents
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines, architects, and consultants
Attend design team meetings, site visits, and inspections
Ensure designs comply with CIBSE, Building Regulations, and best practice
Key requirements
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent)
Minimum 5 years' experience in mechanical building services design
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Hevacomp or similar
Knowledge of relevant regulations and codes (CIBSE, ASHRAE, BS EN)
Membership or working towards membership of a professional body desirable
