Production Engineer

Overview

In this role you will lead engineering projects to strengthen manufacturing capabilities within Cytiva, on-site in Ilfracombe. You will work with cross-functional teams to apply validated methods and drive improvements in regulated environments. Your work supports faster, reliable production of life-science solutions, contributing to the Danaher system of continuous improvement. This is a chance to shape manufacturing processes that have real impact on patients and healthcare outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering projects and process improvement activities to enhance manufacturing capabilities
• Own structured problem solving within the project engineering team
• Collaborate with Operations, Manufacturing Engineering/Product Engineering, and Quality
• Research and learn processes, tools, and technologies to achieve project objectives

Key requirements

• Proven experience in an engineering project environment
• Knowledge of project management techniques
• Proactive use of structured problem solving tools (DMAIC, PSP)
• Strong communication to update stakeholders
• Experience in a regulated (GMP) environment and change control including risk assessment (dFMEA/pFMEA)
• Formally qualified in Mechanical/Production Engineering (or equivalent) (if specified)
