DBS Director

Overview

As DBS Director, you’ll drive the Danaher Business System strategy at the Cytiva site, shaping continuous improvement across functions to boost safety, quality, delivery, cost, and engagement. You will partner with senior leadership to set strategic roadmaps and deploy DBS principles, coaching teams to embed Lean thinking and problem-solving. This role blends on-site leadership with cross-functional influence to enable cultural transformation and tangible performance gains. Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the DBS strategy aligned with business objectives and KPIs
• Lead deployment of DBS principles, tools, and methodologies across functions
• Collaborate with senior leadership to establish strategic roadmaps and policy deployment
• Coach and develop Lean practitioners, managers, and frontline teams
• Drive cultural transformation and accountability for continuous improvement
• Ensure robust Daily Management Systems are implemented and sustained
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, and other functions to achieve goals

Key requirements

• Degree in Engineering or Business
• Experience in Lean manufacturing and process improvement
• Project management and business process analysis experience
• Willingness to work on the shop floor and influence decision-making
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with all levels of the business
• Teamwork and collaboration mindset
• Excellent project management and prioritization skills
• Analytical problem solving with data-driven root-cause analysis
• Hands-on experience with Danaher PSP process
