We are recruiting for a Junior Personal Assistant to join the busy household team of a private family. Based mainly between Sussex and London, this is a varied, hands-on role, helping to keep the family's homes in Sussex, London and France running smoothly, alongside a range of administration tasks.

This position would suit someone organised, personable, practical and calm, who enjoys staying on top of the details. You will work closely with the Senior Personal Assistant, keeping them informed so they can step in whenever needed. A driving licence is essential, and you must be a confident and comfortable driver.

For the right person, this junior PA role offers real variety and the chance to learn from an experienced household team. Discretion and confidentiality are essential.

Based: Mainly Sussex & London with occasional travel. Overnight stay in staff accommodation would be required/ one late finish at London residence.

Duties to include, but not limited to:

Preparing the housekeepers' rota and tracking overtime
Ordering household, cleaning and pet supplies, and booking vet appointments and vaccinations
Arranging fresh flowers at the country property
Overseeing contractors and engineers on projects across all three properties
Liaising with the gardener and booking window cleaning in London
Setting up and tracking cleaning schedules, and checking standards are met
Cooking meals when needed, liaising directly with the Principal
Preparing the French caretakers ahead of the family's arrival, including cleaning schedules, groceries and supplies
Looking ahead to upcoming renovation works
Tracking passports, visas and travel insurance, flagging renewals in good time
Supporting payroll administration, including hours, sick days and annual leave
Keeping an overview of active contractors and suppliers for each property
Managing subscriptions and memberships, and helping to arrange events and social occasions
Booking routine travel and transport independently, and assisting the Executive Assistant with flights, hotels and transfers
