At Trustmarque Ultima , we're looking for an experienced, customer-focused Deskside Engineer to join our Managed Services team, providing dedicated onsite IT support to one of our key customers, Allsop , in Central London.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys being hands-on with technology, solving problems and building strong relationships with end users.

You'll be the go-to person for onsite IT support, working in a professional, fast-paced environment where delivering an exceptional customer experience really matters.

And it's not just about fixing laptops! You'll also have the opportunity to get involved in infrastructure improvements, technical projects and modern workplace technologies, making this an excellent role for someone looking to develop their technical experience.

What you'll be doing

• Providing high-quality, face-to-face IT support, taking ownership of incidents and service requests through to resolution.
• Troubleshooting hardware, software, Microsoft 365, networking and connectivity issues.
• Building, configuring and deploying laptops, mobile devices and other end-user equipment.
• Supporting Microsoft Teams, meeting room technology, AV equipment, printers and telephony.
• Managing Microsoft Active Directory, Entra ID and Intune-related support activities.
• Working closely with remote Service Desk teams, technical specialists and third-party suppliers to resolve issues.
• Supporting IT asset management, device refreshes, stock control and user onboarding/offboarding.
• Getting involved in infrastructure and workplace technology projects, taking ownership of technical activities through to completion.
• Maintaining accurate ITSM records and ensuring users are kept informed throughout the support process.
• Building strong relationships with customer stakeholders and acting as a trusted onsite representative of Trustmarque Ultima.

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who combines strong technical knowledge with excellent people skills. You'll be comfortable working independently, taking ownership of problems and delivering a consistently high standard of service.

You’ll ideally bring:

• Strong experience in a 2nd Line Support, Deskside Engineer or similar IT support role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams.
• Experience supporting Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft Intune.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting laptops, desktops, mobile devices and associated hardware.
• Experience supporting meeting room technology and AV equipment.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow and ITIL-based processes.
• Excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
• A proactive, organised and practical approach, with the confidence to manage competing priorities.

Even better if you have:

• Experience supporting Windows 11 rollouts, device refresh programmes or office relocations.
• Exposure to technical project delivery or infrastructure improvements.
• ITIL v4, CCNA, PRINCE2 or similar certifications.
• Experience working within professional services, property, legal, financial services or other corporate environments.
