About the role:

As a Senior Social Worker, you will hold a varied caseload and be responsible for assessing needs, developing effective support plans, and delivering high-quality statutory social work.

We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Social Worker to join the Children with Disabilities (CWD) City & South Team in Norfolk on a temporary basis for a minimum of three months.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a supportive, close-knit, and highly skilled multi-disciplinary team dedicated to improving outcomes for children and young people with disabilities and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing a caseload of children and young people with disabilities.
Undertaking assessments and identifying areas of need.
Developing and reviewing support packages tailored to individual circumstances.
Working collaboratively with Occupational Therapists and the CWD Outreach Team to deliver targeted interventions.
Completing statutory visits, assessments, reports, and care planning.
Supporting children through CIN, CP, CLA, and transition processes.
Building effective relationships with families, education providers, health professionals, and partner agencies.
Promoting equality of opportunity, ensuring children and young people can access experiences comparable to those of their non-disabled peers.
