Social Worker – Children with Disabilities (CWD)

Bedford Borough Council is looking for a Qualified Social Worker to join their stable and established Children with Disabilities (CWD) Team.

You will manage a varied caseload, including:

• Child and Family Assessments
• Children in Need cases
• Child Protection work
• Court proceedings
• Working closely with children, families and partner agencies

The team benefits from manageable caseloads, regular supervision and a dedicated Short Breaks Team , allowing you to focus on achieving positive outcomes for children and families.

Requirements:

• Social Work qualification
• Current Social Work England registration
• Previous experience within children's social care
• Experience of CWD work would be advantageous
• Experience with assessments, CIN, CP and court work
