Social Worker - CIC & Placement Team - Haringey

Join our dedicated team as a Social Worker in the Children in Care (CIC) & Placement Team at Haringey! We are seeking a passionate and skilled individual to support children and families in our community. In this role, you will work collaboratively with colleagues, external agencies, and families to ensure the best outcomes for children in care. Your expertise will play a crucial role in developing and implementing care plans, conducting assessments, and providing ongoing support to children and their families.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of children and families, ensuring their needs are met.
• Developing and implementing care plans in collaboration with children, families, and other professionals.
• Providing direct support and guidance to children in care, ensuring their emotional and physical well-being.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and documentation in accordance with legal and organizational standards.
• Participating in multi-agency meetings and contributing to the development of best practices within the team.

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications and skills:

• A recognized social work qualification (BA/MA in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
• Current registration with Social Work England.
• Experience working within children’s services, particularly with children in care.
• Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build relationships with children and families.
