About the Role
The Best Connection Group Ltd are currently recruiting for a Transport Planner to join a busy transport operation based in Stoke-on-Trent. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous transport planning experienc e who are looking for a long term position with the potential to become permanent.
Shift Pattern
The role is Monday to Friday on a rotational shift pattern. Once fully trained, shifts will rotate between:
06:00am to 14:00pm
07:00am to 15:00pm
14:00pmm to 22:00pm
Key Responsibilities
Planning and coordinating daily transport operations
Allocating routes to drivers
Monitoring vehicle and driver movements throughout the day
Communicating effectively with drivers, customers and the wider transport team
Ensuring transport schedules are managed efficiently and accurately
The Ideal Candidate
Salary £30,237.50 per annum / £15.50ph
Previous transport planning experience is essential
Strong organisational and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast paced transport environment
