Activation Specialist

As an Activation Specialist you will craft market leading branded experiences in our key On Trade accounts, that drive both brand visibility and sales volumes. Leading the planning and delivery for your selected accounts, engaging both internally and externally with key stakeholders, the Activation Specialist role is pivotal to the successful delivery of market leading activations.

A key position in the Commercial Development Team that elevates our brand visibility in the on trade to our consumers, whilst supporting the delivery of our business goals.

Job responsibilities

Crafting Experiences: Recommend, Validate and Execution of Trade Marketing activations in On Trade to increase brands rate of sale and brand desirability

• Become a brand activation expert in Moët Hennessy UK to animate key On Trade accounts and bring to life amazing brand experiences.
• Execute brand activation plans with excellence within key accounts.
• Bespoke activities: Identify opportunities in the field, in collaboration with the Sales team, to develop brand desirability and boost rate of sale. Engage in activation planning and validate recommendations with key stakeholders.
• Lead the execution of projects, engaging agencies where required, to bring to life amazing brand experiences and visibility within brand guidelines.
• Create and provide brand content for use in customer social media accounts in order to amplify activations.
• Lead the follow-up with each account to ensure required activation outcomes and post activation analysis.

Implement joint business planning process and create tailor made activation plans in specific high image & flagship accounts, in collaboration with the Sales and Marketing Teams

• Work with Sales to implement and manage the Joint Business Planning process in selected high image, high volume key accounts.
• Utilise marketing funds and Commercial Development expertise, to generate tailor made activation plans with a view to generating business growth and heightening consumer engagement.
• Work with the Sales team and execute concepts in a luxurious manner and within brand guidelines.
• Work to defined budgets and consider commercial returns.

Support sales with commercial objectives

• Develop a strong network with the On Trade sales team.
• Engage staff in venues around our brands and educate about our activations.
• Work with Account Managers to leverage activations to improve commercial return for key brands.
• Integrate recommendations of the trade marketing plan into negotiations to enhance the value of the MHUK offer and win new business.

Review Activation Performance & Share Feedback

• Populate internal reporting tools accurately including Salesforce and Yammer.
• Undertake post-activation analysis to measure impact.
• Share learnings and results with Sales and Marketing teams to improve the impact of activations.
• Share best practice and monitor competitor activity.

Profile

Education & Qualifications

• Degree level education.

Key Skills & Knowledge

• Experience in Sales or Trade Marketing role.
• Knowledge of the On Trade.
• Strong understanding of MHUK brands and the luxury universe.
• Strong skills in organisation, time and project management.
• Knowledge of activation implementation / execution.
• Strong creativity to think out of the box and develop new ideas.
• Agency and supplier management experience.
• Good champagne / spirit and wine knowledge.
• Ability to network and engage.

Personal & interpersonal skills:

• Excellent communication, engagement and relationship building skills.
• Strongly customer oriented.
• Digitally savvy.
