As an Adult Clinical Assessor in Luton , you'll use the skills you've already developed — clinical reasoning, assessment, communication and professional judgement — in a completely different working environment.
You'll conduct telephone and face-to-face assessments on behalf of the DWP , exploring how health conditions and disabilities affect an individual's daily life and functional ability.
You'll review medical evidence, ask the right questions and produce clear, objective reports.
No previous assessor experience required. Full paid training provided.

A Different Way to Use Your Clinical Skills
Your clinical expertise doesn't stop being valuable when you leave traditional patient-facing care.
You'll:

• Conduct telephone and face-to-face assessments
• Review medical evidence and supporting information
• Explore how conditions affect daily activities and functional ability
• Use clinical reasoning and professional judgement
• Produce accurate, evidence-based reports

This is not a hands-on treatment role. There are no traditional clinical shifts, and you'll have the opportunity to focus on assessment, analysis and report writing.
Who We're Looking ForWe're looking for healthcare professionals with:

• Active NMC, HCPC or GPhC registration
• At least 1 year of post-registration adult clinical experience
• Strong communication and report-writing skills
• Good IT skills
• Confidence working independently
• The ability to analyse complex clinical information

Suitable backgrounds include Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Paramedicine and Pharmacy .
