Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated midwife to lead our Community Midwifery Teams across St Richards Hospital, Chichester and Worthing Hospital. This cross-site leadership role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe, effective and compassionate maternity care within community settings, while providing clinical, operational and professional leadership to community midwives and maternity support workers. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary colleagues and external partners to drive service improvement, maintain high standards of care, support staff development and wellbeing, and ensure a seamless experience for women and families across the maternity pathway. This role offers the opportunity to influence service development and contribute to the delivery of outstanding maternity care across University Hospitals Sussex.
