Pay Grade: Grade M1 to M6.

Full Time Salary: £34,096 to £46,940

Actual Salary: £20,441.40 to £28,164

Hours: 16.50 hours per week

Starting: 1 January 2026

A fantastic opportunity has arisen at St James CE Primary School! We are looking to recruit a passionate, caring and enthusiastic Teacher, to join our committed team. Dedicated to supporting, inspiring and leading the brilliant children in our school. Working together and supporting every child to flourish, feel safe, and enjoy the exciting journey of learning and discovery.

We are looking to appoint someone who:

• Is enthusiastic, approachable, and friendly.
• Ensures all children feel safe, happy, and able to learn.
• Has proven experience in delivering the curriculum in a creative and tailored way, to sustain the academic achievement of all pupils.
• Is confident in using a range of behaviour management strategies.
• Is committed to supporting, motivating, and challenging the learning of children of all abilities within the classroom.
• Can make special contribution to our school community, as a Teacher and a Team Member.
• Is supportive of the ethos of a Church and Trust school.
• Understands the importance of Child Protection and is committed to the safeguarding of children’s welfare - both at home and in school.
