B2B Sales Executive

VANRATH is working with a well established print and design business in Belfast on the appointment of a confident, energetic B2B Sales Executive to join their Client Services team.

This is a hands on sales role with a strong focus on outbound activity, lead generation and client reactivation. At least half your time will be spent on the phone to existing, lapsed and prospective clients, introducing them to the company's print and creative services and spotting opportunities to pass to the Account Management team.

You do not need extensive sales experience or a print background for this one. What matters most is that you are comfortable picking up the phone, confident talking to people, resilient when you hit a no and motivated by creating opportunities. Full training is provided, so it will suit someone keen to build a sales career within a busy, friendly and commercially focused team.

Alongside the outbound activity, you will support the Account Managers and Client Services Manager with day to day admin, inbound enquiries and general client support when needed.

• Belfast, office based
• Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm

The Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Spend a minimum of 50% of your time on outbound sales activity
• Make outbound calls to existing, lapsed and prospective clients
• Re-engage previous clients and identify opportunities to bring them back
• Research and contact prospective businesses that could benefit from the services
• Introduce prospects to the print and creative studio offering
• Identify client needs and opportunities through conversation
• Qualify leads and pass suitable opportunities to the Account Management team
• Follow up leads and previous conversations consistently
• Keep accurate records of calls, conversations and opportunities on the CRM
• Support targeted outbound campaigns as directed by the Client Services Manager
• Help build a consistent pipeline for the wider commercial team
• Support the Account Managers with follow-ups, inbound calls, quotations and general Client Services admin

• Confident and comfortable making outbound telephone calls
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• A positive and resilient approach to sales and rejection
• Strong organisational and administrative skills
• Comfortable speaking to new people and building rapport quickly
• Proactive, with the ability to use initiative
• Good attention to detail
• Comfortable working towards activity and lead generation targets
• A genuine willingness to learn and develop within a sales environment

Desirable

• Previous experience in telesales, sales, lead generation, customer service or a similar role
• Experience within the print, marketing, design or business services sector
• Experience using CRM systems
• Experience of outbound prospecting or cold calling
