If you're a qualified Dispensing Optician who loves patient care but wants something beyond the same practice every day, our Pulse Team could be exactly what you're looking for.

As a Mobile Dispensing Optician, you'll support Leightons practices across Surrey and the surrounding area, bringing your expertise, personality and patient-first approach wherever you're needed.

What is the Pulse Team?

Think of Pulse as the heartbeat of Leightons.

Our Pulse Dispensing Opticians provide support across the business, covering holidays, supporting additional clinics and helping practices when extra expertise is needed.

To support your mobility, you'll receive either a company car or travel allowance, making it easy to move between our unique and beautifully individual practices.

More Than Just Dispensing

At Leightons, our Dispensing Opticians are at the heart of the patient journey.

You won't simply process prescriptions. You'll build relationships, provide expert advice and help people find eyewear that perfectly suits their prescription, lifestyle and personal style.

You'll take ownership of the dispensing experience, giving patients the confidence that comes from expert guidance and genuinely personalised care.

It's one of the reasons our patients keep coming back.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who combines clinical expertise with a genuine passion for people.

You'll be:

• A fully qualified and GOC-registered Dispensing Optician
• Passionate about delivering outstanding patient care
• A confident communicator who builds trust naturally
• Customer-focused and consultative in your approach
• Adaptable and comfortable working in different practices
• Organised, proactive and professional
• In possession of a full UK driving licence

Most importantly, you'll care about quality over quantity and share our commitment to providing an exceptional patient experience every single time.

Why Leightons?

Since 1928, we've remained proudly independent, putting patients and people at the centre of everything we do.

Today, we're one of the UK's leading independent optical and hearing care providers, with 37 unique practices that all have their own personality, teams and communities.

That means when you join the Pulse Team, you're not joining one practice.

You're joining all of them.
