The successful candidate will play a key role in creating a positive, engaging and supportive classroom environment where every child is encouraged to achieve their full potential. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons, supporting pupils' academic progress and fostering a love of learning through creative and engaging teaching approaches.

The Role:

Teaching a Year 1 class within a primary school setting.

Planning and delivering engaging, creative and differentiated lessons in line with the National Curriculum.

Supporting pupils as they transition from the Early Years Foundation Stage into Key Stage 1.

Monitoring and assessing pupil progress to ensure all children are supported to reach their individual learning goals.

Creating a positive classroom environment that promotes confidence, independence and curiosity.

Managing classroom behaviour effectively and encouraging positive relationships with pupils.

Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues and senior leadership to support pupil development.

Maintaining effective communication with parents and carers regarding children's progress and wellbeing.

The Ideal Candidate:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.

Has previous experience teaching within a primary school, ideally in Year 1 or Key Stage 1.

Demonstrates strong classroom management and organisational skills.

Is passionate about delivering inclusive and engaging learning experiences.

Can adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of pupils with different abilities and learning styles.

Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Is enthusiastic, reliable, proactive and committed to supporting every child's progress.

Can work effectively as part of a team while demonstrating initiative and professionalism.
