This role is fully office-based in Ware, Hertfordshire, with hybrid or fully remote options available to more experienced candidates, depending on their level of experience.

Basic salary £50,000 up to £70,000 depending on experience, plus uncapped OTE and excellent benefits and international travel.

The role

As a B2B Senior Sponsorship Sales Manager, you will grow commercial revenue by identifying opportunities, pitching high-value B2B sponsorship, partnership, or conference packages, and negotiating and closing sales for events and conferences. You will work with some of the world’s most ambitious technology and cybersecurity vendors to build meaningful connections, unlock new opportunities, and develop relationships that drive genuine sales pipeline growth.

Your experience

As a B2B Senior Sponsorship Sales Manager, you will bring commercial acumen and:

• Min of 3 to 5+ years of proven B2B sponsorship or event sales experience.
• A strong track record of selling high-value packages worth approximately £1 million to technology, cybersecurity, and enterprise IT vendors, while consistently meeting and exceeding targets.
• A strong understanding of CIO, CISO and wider C-suite audiences, together with the dynamics of senior executive engagement programmes.

As a B2B Senior Sponsorship Sales Manager, you will be joining a growing business and play a key role in its commercial success by building relationships with technology and cybersecurity vendors across North America and Europe. You will create bespoke packages that deliver strong results.

Unlike traditional event sales roles, this position gives you the freedom to understand each client’s needs and shape the right solution from the full portfolio. The approach is consultative: you will build tailored commercial packages rather than sell from a standard template.

Duties

• Business Development and Account Growth: Drive new business development while expanding existing accounts across the technology and cybersecurity vendor landscape in the UK, Europe, and North America.
• Consultative Sales: Sell across the full portfolio using a consultative approach, creating bespoke multi-product packages aligned with each client’s commercial objectives.
• Client Relationships: Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior marketing, demand generation, and partnership decision-makers within technology companies.
• Sales Cycle Management: Manage the full sales cycle, from initial outreach through proposal, negotiation, and close.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the content, events, and delivery teams to ensure client expectations are consistently exceeded.
• Forecasting and Reporting: Maintain accurate revenue forecasts, strong CRM hygiene, and clear pipeline reporting for senior leadership.
• Brand Representation: Represent the company at events and industry forums as a strong ambassador for the brand.
• Commercial Strategy: Contribute to the wider commercial strategy by bringing market intelligence and client insight back to the team
